What is a "Real Home
Business?"
Just for our purposes, we'll say a "real home
business" is one that requires some physical activity beyond
the office or home.
After 30 years I've learned there is great potential in
performing services for home owners. As our world gets
more and more involved and demands of professionals increase,
there is an ever increasing demand for service providers to
fill their needs.
So although you might run your home business from the extra
bedroom or garage, it requires you to travel locally and
perform services for others.
Is there any security or money in this?
I can personally verify incomes of house painters in the six
figures, year after year. I've had subscribers come back
and report making over $75,000 per year doing pressure washing
and working on home exteriors and decks. As well as
carpet cleaners earning similar yearly wages year in and year
out.
Last year I learned of someone who left a $75,000/year job
to help his wife with her "Cleaning" business". Nice
problem to have, isn't it?
Now I will admit, except for the house painter, I know most
of the better earners combine more then one service to keep
busy all year around. This has been my system for over 30
years now and I've never had difficulty supporting my
family.
So is there potential here? Absolutely, YES.
This is especially so when you combine multiple sources of
income from both on and off the internet.
