What Is
Article
Marketing?
There is one means of establishing your presence
online and making sure that you will not be left behind with
the next change in Google or any of the major search engines.
The act of "Article Marketing" has long been established as a
necessity if you are serious about getting your website
found in the search engines.
Simply said, article marketing is the act of writing
an article on a subject related to your website or
business. Then you publish your article in various high
profile article directories on the web. In addition, you
can learn to write short articles and publish them in various
blogs.
Generally you article will have either an author
section or have live text links back to relating information on
your targeted website. As other web site owners find your
articles in the directories they will publish them on their own
websites with your back link to your site.
One point that many in SEO won't mention is that it is
important that each article is unique in content. The
search engines can easily detect duplicate content and in most
cases those duplicate articles will not be indexed.
Meaning it would be wasted time to publish the same article all
over the web.
As you might suspect there is more to this subject but
this only covers the basics and will work regardless of any
changes in the search engines. That is the nice thing
about article marketing, you can be sure your efforts are not
wasted over time.
Some readers now are thinking they cannot
possibly write or feel they couldn't keep up with the need
for more and more articles. This is a common fear of
someone new to the game.
But the key is to make maximum use of
everything you write. For example, when I write a 300
to 450 word article on any subject, I already know it will
produce 10 to 20 or even more unique articles I can
publish at various locations on the
web.
